The Perometer type 400MT uses a vertical measurement frame with a cross-section area of 47cm x 47cm. It is suitable for vertically placed objects.

To perform the measurement the frame is moved once over the object and back in about three seconds. The patient’s legs are measured while standing. A grip allows to measure arms of a person sitting next to the frame.
